A stem glass with perfectly studied and balanced proportions, characterized by a wide bowl that recalls the traditional Champagne coupe towards the base, whilst its height alludes to the traditional flute.
The ample mouth of the glass as well as the linear form of its walls allow the aromas and perlage of the sparkling wine to be channelled toward the upper area of the glass thus directing them toward the mouth to enhance all the wines qualities.
The presence of 7 laser-cut perlage points, one central and 6 in a circular crown at equal distances from the center, allows this innovative stem glass to fully promote and enhance perlage (bubbles or effervescence).
This glass has been exclusively designed to elevate the organic and olfactory properties of sparkling wines produced with the Champenois method and is perfect for the tasting of Trento Doc wines.
This Crystalline stem glass is manufactured using Xtreme technology that is extraordinarily light, elegant, easy to handle and yet extremely durable.
The Etoile Collection is the result of a joint collaboration between Italesse and the Maitres Cuisiniers de France. Mouth blown, the original Etoile range was too expensive for general restaurant and home use so the Maitres Cuisiniers de France approached Italesse asking if they could take the perfect attributes of the Etoile glasses into a more mass produced environment without compromising the design.
The mission was certainly not easy especially given the extremely high demands and expectations of the French masters. Prototype after prototype was developed, continuously fine-tuning the process until it was concluded with the hallmark Italesse result: aesthetics combined with functionality. A beautiful and reliable stem glass that is both durable yet light to hold has been created.
