Pappelina Blanket Ylva Design Made Of Cotton Chenille & Lambs Wool 140x200cm Ochre & Cream

Pappelina blankets originally started as an idea to match their rugs with many able to be used on both sides where patterns and colours are mirrored.

With the Ylva 140x200cm Dark Grey & Charcoal Rug Pappelina wanted to give a similar effect to these new blankets where the tones of the colours and materials give a different feeling and structure. The mix of materials and the techniques of weaving have always interested Lina which is why she has chosen a combination of wool and cotton chenille. Choosing organic material was for her a natural choice.

All Pappelina blankets are totally organic and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) Certified.

At homeArama we take sustainability seriously. As a small business we are certainly not perfect but we are working our way through all our ranges to ensure they are as planet friendly and as sustainable as possible, like many we have new generations to worry about and take care of.

For all of us sustainable means many things but we feel an important factor is the life of a product. As our Grandparents taught us if we take care of things then they should last! All our products are selected with that in mind; they are built to last. They may cost a little more but once bought then they should last for many years, if not a lifetime! A benefit to your pocket, but also the planet.

If you find anything you disagree with or want to know more about then, please, just ask, this is an ongoing work in progress! Call us on 01993 867075 or email [email protected]. We care!

Stunning truly organic soft to the touch blankets!

All Pappelina Blankets are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) Certified, the leading textile processing standard for organic fibres. When they certify a product to the GOTS standard they check every step of the supply chain, from harvesting through production, processing, manufacturing and labelling. they also consider the environmental management and social responsibility of producers. GOTS is the gold standard for sustainable processing of textiles made from organically grown fibres such as cotton or wool.

In addition Pappelina ensure no pesticides have been used in the lifecycle of the organic material and that all wool is mulesing free which means wool from around the buttocks of the animal is not used as, potentially, it can retain germs.
