The Margrethe Bowls have become a true icon of Scandi product design and can be found in most Scandinavian homes. Designed in 1954 by Swedish Designer Sigvard Bernadotte and Danish architect Acton Bjorn they were named after Princess Margrethe. They have long passed the status of just a mixing bowl, they can be used as serving bowl, a fruit bowl, a snack bowl for popcorn and even a plant pot! Made from melamine, they are available in multiple colours and sizes.
Featured here is the 3.0L Stainless Steel Bowl, a shiny take on the original.
It has all the classic virtues of the iconic Margrethe bowl: the excellent handle, the practical pouring spout and the non-slip rubber ring at the base. The exclusive high quality perfectly machined steel bowl simply shines and stands out even more. The bowl features a beautiful satin finish on the interior and then a stunning high gloss finish on the exterior. It is dishwasher and freezer-safe, but cannot be used in the microwave.
