ROKA are now certified as a B Corporation (or B Corp). To achieve this accreditation ROKA had to meet rigorous social and environmental standards which represent its commitment to goals outside of shareholder profit, goals that seek to protect our planet.

Embrace a relaxed style with the Farringdon Bag. Drape it casually over your front or back shoulder, or simply grasp it in your hands. The Roka Farringdon, with its distinctive half-moon design, offers unparalleled versatility.
Crafted from exceptionally soft Taslon material, the Farringdon exudes a naturally slouchy sensation. Featuring numerous interior pockets, it accommodates your essentials such as your phone, keys, wallet, water bottle, and more. The adjustable strap and relaxed shape ensure a perfect fit against your body, regardless of how you choose to carry it.
All ROKA London taslon bags are made using fabric waste from production processes such as scraps, rejects, offcuts and trimmings. ROKA take this waste, that would otherwise simply be thrown out, to repurpose and spin it into new material. Recycling such waste creates a durable nylon as well as being a great way to reduce waste. The taslon material has a shiny look and smooth feel to it.
Built to last, Roka hardware is stylish and durable. From their chunky zips and padded materials to their vegan, leather-like straps, their goals are fashion, functionality, long life and, of course, quality.
No matter where you are going or what you are doing, one of our Roka bags will be just right for you! There are places for water bottles, laptops, books, note pads, clothes, wallets, personal items and much much more!

For all of us sustainable means many things but we feel an important factor is the life of a product. As our Grandparents taught us if we take care of things then they should last! All our products are selected with that in mind; they are built to last. They may cost a little more but once bought then they should last for many years, if not a lifetime! A benefit to your pocket, but also the planet.
If you find anything you disagree with or want to know more about then, please, just ask, this is an ongoing work in progress! Call us on 01993 867075 or email [email protected]. We care!
Roka London, a family company, truly care about our world and its future. So much so they have been certified as a B Corporation (or B Corp). To get this accreditation exacting social and environmental standards have to be met which represent a companies commitment to goals outside of shareholder profit.
The B Corp certification has 5 key impact areas; Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. The certification process is extremely rigorous with applicants being required to provide evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices relating to energy supplies, waste and water use, worker compensation, diversity and corporate transparency. It is also compulsory to legally embed their commitment to a purpose beyond profit in their company articles.
100 million single use plastic bottles are used worldwide every day with a massive 80% of those never being recycled ending up in our landfills, our countryside and our oceans. Roka have created a sustainable range of bags made out of recycled plastic bottles and waste specifically to address this challenge to help recycle waste and protect all land and marine life.
PET material (polyethylene terephthalate, a raw petroleum-based material) is widely used in plastic bottles and other food packaging all over the world. Roka use recycled PET (or rPET) in their nylon sustainable bags giving a brand new and purposeful life to a material thats not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfill or the ocean.
For their canvas range Roka use waste from fabric production that would otherwise be thrown out, such as offcuts, rejects, scraps and trimming, and spin it all into a new repurposed and usable material.
Roka have also dived deep into the manufacturing processes developing a new production method that uses a whopping 85% less energy, 80% less water with 65% fewer emissions than traditional methods.
They have also taken a closer look at their packaging completely redesigning that as well. The Roka Sustainable range that we stock at homeArama comes in corn starch-based, biodegradable packaging.
All in all Roka is committed to a sustainable operation caring for their customers, their people, their communities and, of course, our planet. We are proud to be stockists here at homeArama.
